The Community offers to the brothers and sisters who wish to embark on the journey of prayer, spaces, times, places of encounter with the Lord, in an atmosphere of silence.

The community of Santa Maria del Silenzio is designed to express in solitude and asceticism the contemplative dimension of our vocation as Daughters of the Church, through a stronger experience of desert and contact with God and his Word, living life apostolic of the Church for the whole of humanity.
The elderly Sisters are the treasure of the Institute and like Moses on the mountain they support the whole Family with their prayer and suffering. The gifts of wisdom and experience with which the Lord has endowed them not only exchange them among themselves, but also make them available to those who go to visit them.
